We use fillings to repair the tooth when it’s been damaged as a result of decay, chipping, or a small fracture.

We can also use them in cases where the tooth has been damaged by general wear and tear or if it needs to be resurfaced in order to improve your bite.

If you’re experiencing increased sensitivity, this may well indicate a loss of enamel which, in turn, could mean you need a filling. If this is the case, you should visit us here at Figges Marsh Dental, as only a dentist can positively diagnose the underlying cause of this sensitivity.

We offer a range of materials for our fillings but have found that our patients tend to opt for white fillings. This is because they are the most aesthetically pleasing option and will look completely natural against the rest of your teeth. We will glue them straight onto the tooth before strengthening and filling the tooth, thereby repairing the tooth’s full use while ensuring it looks better than ever.
